Description
I’ve been an eBay member for around 15 years with over 1600 100% positive feedback. I wanted to keep record sales separate and so this is a new account.
Records are visually graded, but I do listen to intros for crackle and clarity, and play through any marks.

Very early, 1st pressing of the 1979 Clash double album. Super condition, a very clean copy. Copies like this are hard to find.
All four sides are in beautiful condition with no visible defects.
Everything on the CBS white labels is as it should be: ? 1979 CBS Records. All songs published by Riva Music Limited/Nineden Limited, except: A2: Carlin Music Corp. C1: Copyright Control. D4: Island Music Limited. Original sound recording made by CBS Records.
"Train In Vain" is only listed in etching on side 4, it is not listed on the label or the sleeve.

Sound is great. Run-ins for sides 1 & 2 are almost silent. Sides 3 & 4 have a very light background “swish”, but it’s all fine when the music starts.
There are a couple of incredibly light marks on the label of side one, just above the spindle hole and one slightly to the left. Small and feint and only mentioned for completeness. Please check the photos. Apologies for lack of label close-ups, but max 12 photos. I can attach more to eBay messages if required.
Comes complete with original 28cm, double-sided inserts with images and full lyrics. In excellent condition – as good as new. Original paper inner sleeves.
Sleeve is excellent. The back shows the all-important CBS gold stamp to the top left and the important text is all there: © 1979 CBS Inc. ? 1979 CBS Inc. Shorepak by Shorewood Packaging Co. Ltd, England. White background has very slight discolouration around the edges and there is just the faintest start of ring marks to top and left on the back.
Spine is clean. Spine corners are not cut/folded correctly and have small holes – see photos, and there is slight scuffing to top left edge. All very minor and in no way detracts from a very rare record.
