Description
SEALED! Full-length LP from The City titled "Now That Everything's Been Said" released by Ode Records (Z12 44012) in 1968. Original pressing with a black & white cover often mistaken as a bootleg. Copies with B&W covers were used as radio station and record store promos. Nonetheless, this Carole King (vocals/keyboards) obscurity is the only release from the group effort with Danny Kortchmar on guitar/vocals, Charles Larkey on bass and Jimmy Gordon on drums. The songwriting is solid (No Doubt! It's Carole King!) and the production has that 60's West Coast sound with lovely natural reverb. A real forgotten gem and a hard find. Shrink wrap is split almost completely at bottom edge. This remains a SEALED/UNPLAYED copy!
