Description
This is an auction for a rare LP by The Byrds, Turn Turn Turn.
This was released by CBS Records in 1966 and has catalogue number SBPG62652. This is the 1st press with a rough textured orange label and flipback sleeve, this is Stereo. Please check the pictures for clarification.
Matrix Numbers- SBPG 62652 A1 SBPG 62652 B1
Condition: The sleeve has some very light discolouring marks on the rear, buffing to the very corners and one place on the front spine edge (spine fine), Spine & edges Ex, no tears, bends or creases, lamination ex. A very nice sleeve and graded at a strict VG+
This comes with its original CBS inner sleeve which other than two creases is perfect.
Labels: both labels are clean and look new, under closer examination only a few tiny spider spindle trails can be seen on each side. The centre hole on side 2 a touch of wear, side one is perfect.
Vinyl- Both sides retain there new shine, under the closest of examinations I can't see any marks or scratches on this one. I have play tested this record through both sides and it plays how it looks which is fantastic.
The music itself plays strong and clear through both sides with no fading, distortion or dragging heard whatsoever. Quiet breaks and entries. This plays with very little, if any, lessening in sound quality and does not suffer from any reduction through wear as this has been played a few times only. Other than the very occasional quiet crackle (probably dust) this plays as new.
The vinyl for this is graded at Near Mint.
A fine collectable.
