On offer is The Byrds classic 'Sweetheart Of The Rodeo' in a 1968 Stereo original UK 1st pressing.The Cat. No is SBPG 63353 .This album was heavily influenced by the presence of the great Gram Parsons and produced by Gary Usher. The success of this album both artistically and commercially represented a very high point in their careers and fully established country rock as a genre in it’s own right.
The record labels are in great condition with barely any spindle marks. The vinyl is in fine condition. Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are often found worn out, and almost unplayable. This one still retains its original 'just pressed' look. The record comes in its original inner sleeve. The front of the 1st Press E.J.Day Cover is in stunning condition. It has no edge wear, no spinal wear no corner wear or appreciable creases (cover is flat looking), and no writing. The opening edge is beautifully straight. The back has mild yellowing. A very fine important album you’ll be proud to own.
