Description

THE BOYS   I don’t care  on NEMS   RECORD label  NES 102  1977

B side  Soda Pressing   UK pressing  in pic sleeve 


The Boys formed in 1976  and this is their debut single -  a bit of a punk gem !


CONDITION 

Sleeve EXCELLENT   -  Just very faint age tanning at top edge  but no side splits which is unusual 

as these paper sleeves are a bit fragile and prone to wear - 

Rear sleeve is  plain white and tends to show up signs of wear - this one is in really good shape . 

Labels EXCELLENT

Vinyl  Just Under EXCELLENT - on the A side there are two faint surface marks - Just audible as a crackle for about 2 revolutions at the start before everything kicks off !


A little bit of Punk history - The Boys were the first UK punk band to sign an album deal in  jan 1977  . 

This single hit the streets in April 1977 and the BOYS started on a National Tour supporting John Cale ( ex - Velvet Undergound )
