THE BOOK OF MUSIC, Volume 1: Private Pressing Records 21227 (Mfd in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1972) Trax are: A THOUGHT, LONELY MAN, ABOUT YOU, FREE WHEELIN', FACT OR FICTION, EVERYONE'S LAUGHIN', MYH SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN, ICY COLD BLUE, and BIT O' THE SOUL. One of the rarest Private Pressing Acid Psych LP's in the world. According to ROCKADELIC archives, only 300 were pressed in 1972, and all were sold at live shows. MUSIC was basically a High School rock band, and this one SMOKES!!! Only one or two copies are known to exist. In 2004, ROCKADELIC reissued this LP in a limited, 300 copy run. This is an original copy from 1972. The cover is in Very Good condition with some shelfwear, mostly along the edges. I didn't touch anything up, and am selling it without doing anything to make it look better. No holes, no splits, no bends. There is a dedication and signature on the back, which might be from someone in the group. It reads "From Gail & Steve--Stay Tuned For More, Joshua" The label is clean and new on both sides. The vinyl record looks new and plays new.
