Description
A copy of the Pye Records blues compilation album The Blues Volume 2, from the legendary collection of Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman. This album features nine artists, seven of whom were covered by the Stones, and/or performed with them, including Chuck Berry, John Lee Hooker, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Little Walter and Bo Diddley. On the back cover, Wyman has handwritten the recording dates of each song.
Bill Wyman is legendary as a musician, a blues historian, an author and for his world-class collection of Rolling Stones memorabilia. This album was sold by him at the Bill Wyman and his Rolling Stones Archive sale at Julien’s Auctions (if you haven’t already seen the Wyman documentary The Quiet One, we enthusiastically recommend it.)
The cover is EX and the disc is in NM-/EX+ condition.
