COMMENT... HERE'S A DIFFICULT ONE TO TRACK DOWN, THE ORIGINAL U.K. PRESSING OF THE FABULOUS BLUES MAGOOS DEBUT ALBUM FROM 1966 ON THE FONTANA LABEL. THIS IS MY OWN COPY FROM THE LATE 60's PERIOD AND HAS BEEN IN MY COLLECTION SINCE THEN! THE SLEEVE IS GRADED AS Nr. MINT AS IT IS BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN WITH THE LAMINATED FRONT STILL RETAINING IT'S WONDERFUL ORIGINAL SHEEN THAT LOOKS ALMOST NEW! .. IT IS ALSO BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN AND SQUARE WITH NO SEAM SPLITS OR WRITING. AS FOR THE RECORD IT IS PRESSED ON ORIGINAL BRITISH THICK HEAVY VINYL AND IS ABSOLUTELY "PRISTINE CONDITION WITH JUST ONE LIGHT MARK ON SIDE TWO THAT I HAVE TRIED TO PHOTOGRAPH BUT IT IS TOO LIGHT TO SHOW UP! THE SOUND QUALITY IS AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM THE "FONTANA " LABEL RECORDINGS OF THIS PERIOD ie. CRYSTAL CLEAR WITH NO DISTORTION AND AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE TO HEAR AGAIN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS AND THE ONLY REASON I AM LETTING IT GO IS BECAUSE I ALSO HAVE A MINT UN-PLAYED "A" LABEL PROMO! ...
