Welcome to my sale of some extraordinarily rare 7" singles that I will be listing this weekend. Next up is The Blue Flames - Stop Right Here b/w Rik's Tune. Released by R&B Records in 1963 cat no. JB.126. Matrix stamps R&B/EJ.26 A / R&B/EJ.26B Vinyl has surface marks but generally a strong VG+, label has some light marks. Replacement generic sleeve. Rare early Ska single on the legendary R&B label run by Rita and Benny Izons in Stamford Hill in London, they were responsible for some of the earliest releases by Jamaican artists in the UK. This had to be a solo effort by the Blue Flames as their manager refused to allow Georgie Fame to be associated with or sing on this single.
I am conservatively under grading these listings, but all have been play tested using Sennheiser dynamic head phones and all items listed play through with no skips or jumps and minimal background noise, that does not interfere with the music at normal volumes. Any exceptions to this will be noted, the pictures were taken on a high definition camera that form part of the description so please check and ask if not sure. Please ask me about any individual item before making a purchase. Prices are based on sales achieved within the last year on various platforms (if any have sold) and reflect the rarity and in some cases uniqueness of these lots.
