Description

This is a very rare UK NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / PUNK / KBD cross over single single by the band THE BLITZ from 1979, this is the ORIGINAL pressing and the first time for a long time I have seen this single for sale. AN ORIGINAL, AND A MUST !!!.
This single is mentioned in Mario Panciera's excellent book "45 Revolutions", and gets a high rarity rating, and also is mentioned in the NEW WAVE OF HEAVY METAL ENCYCLOPEDIA and it says "You might want to add this one to your wants list, but I would not hold out too much hope of procuring a copy, especially if you're not in the regular habit of paying hugh prices for yur acquisitions", well here is one copy with a very low starting price.

The single came out on the band's own BITCH RECORDS pressed through the SRT pressing plant, catalogue number SRTS/79/CUS 458, a rare find and an ORIGINAL pressing !!!

The songs are: I LOVE MYSELF / THE BORDER.

This single never came with a P/S, and The condition of the VINYL is EX++ (Near Mint to others, Played once!!!).

You will not find a better condition of this NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / PUNK single, of which only 500 or less copies were ever made.
