The Record:
The record is in mint condition with a high gloss and no spindle marks on the label.
The Cover:
In great shape with no ring wear, though the corners are not square, the top left one being the most "dog-eared" or bent" (see photo). At the top of the album cover, near the right corner, there is a cut mark above the "w." This is not a "cut-out" mark, but a cut designating this record as not being a "clean" for sale. This record was sent out as a "promo" when the album was first released, hence it having the original back cover and the illustrated inner sleeve. Many times record labels would "cut" records in this manner and send them out after having run out of the gold-stamped promos. There is a crease on the front and the back near the spine.
This record belonged to the Georgia Music Hall of Fame Archives, and as such, has the archive number (GMHF-33-96-5-107) written underneath the bar code on the back cover and on the Side 2 label of the record. When the museum in Macon, GA, closed, it was returned to the original owner who had loaned it, and many other items, to the museum.
ENVIRONMENT: This item has been stored in a smoke-free and pet-free home under climate-controlled conditions since I first purchased or received it.
