Description
After being an avid music collector for over thirty years, I've decided to downscale somewhat. So in the coming months I'll be listing an abundance of records, cd's, tour programmes, genuine autographed items, tour t-shirts, magazines and other memorabilia from my own personal collection.
THE BLACK CROWES - SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER - Vinyl LP
Def American / 842 515-1 (A-1U-1-1/B-1U-1-1 Matrix) / 1990 / UK
The Black Crowes debut album, released in February 1990. This is an original UK first pressing with the lowest matrix numbers and has been fully autographed by all 5 original members of the band (Chris Robinson, Rich Robinson, Jeff Cease, Steve Gorman & Johnny Colt). I had this signed by them personally on the afternoon of the 14 June 1990 outside the International II in Manchester where they were opening for The Dogs D'Amour. This LP was signed in my presence and is unconditionally guaranteed genuine.
Track Listing

Side Two : 1. Hard To Handle 2. Thick N' Thin 3. She Talks To Angels 4. Struttin' Blues 5. Stare It Cold
Condition
Vinyl : G+/VG- Visually, the vinyl looks to have been played quite a few times as there are quite a few light surface marks showing but certainly nothing major or deep. The labels are in excellent condition with only one very light spindle mark showing on each side. On playback, there is a light surface noise detectable in the background but I found the album played really well with nothing too obtrusive.
Sleeve : EX Overall, the autographed sleeve is in excellent condition - it still has that new shine to it. Corners and edges are all excellent with only the faintest of wear detectable EX+. The inner sleeve is excellent too with just a little, minor creasing but no tears or seam-splits EX-.
Record Collector Grading System
Mint (M): Record shows no evidence of having been played. Vinyl/sleeve in perfect, brand new condition. No secondhand records can make this grade.
Near Mint (NM): Record shows little sign of having been played. Vinyl/sleeve is in superb condition. My highest grade for secondhand vinyl.
Excellent (EX): Record has been played a few times but has been well looked after. Vinyl has the odd light surface mark but there is no significant lessening of sound quality. Sleeve may have some slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG): Record has been played a number of times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite some visible marks / mild scratches. Any surface noise is occasional, light and unobtrusive. Sleeve will have some normal wear and tear without any major defects.
Good (G): While the record still plays OK, the vinyl will have a lot of surface marks/ light scratches and there is regular and noticeable surface noise. Sleeve and contents will suffer from folding, scuffing and/ or edge splits, discoloration etc.
Fair (F): Vinyl will have scratches and jump etc. Records in this condition will be collection-fillers only. The sleeve has major tears, staining etc.
