Description
THE BIRDS
"LEAVING HERE" / "NEXT IN LINE"
7" on the original DECCA RECORDS cat# F.12140 from 1965
Most will know about THIS fine Mod band - which included Ron Wood, later of Creation, Jeff Beck Group, The Faces and The ROLLING STONES - plus the late Kim Gardner who was also later to join The CREATION, and later become a member of Ashton Gardner and Dyke (then ran a pub on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles!)
This was a track The WHO also liked to play, but The Birds cut their version onto this single first.
It's a wonderful number, written by Motown legends indeed. The cool flip is penned by Ron Wood himself.
The vinyl is VG++, with WONDERFUL shine and a GREAT player!
