Here’s another of Gene Norman productions, where the information is incorrect, but the music isn’t! Side 1 is correct as it was recorded on August 30, 1954, probably at the Crescendo Club in LA, featuring Clifford Brown on trumpet, Harold Land on tenor, Richie Powell on piano, George Morrow on bass and Max Roach on drums. SIDE 1: JORDU; I CAN’T GET STARTED; I GET A KICK OUT OF YOU and PARISIAN THROUGHFARE. Side 2 was recorded in April of 1954, possibly at the California Club in Los Angeles, Clifford Brown on trumpet, Teddy Edwards on tenor, Carl Perkins on piano, George Bledsoe on bass and Max Roach on drums. Norman has Harold Land and Richie Powell on this side as well! SIDE 2: ALL GOD’S CHILLUN GOT RHYTHM; TENDERLY; SUNSET EYES and CLIFFORD’S AXE. The record comes in its original sleeve. This is a MONO recording.

I have graded the vinyl as EX as well as the record jacket for the following reasons. The vinyl is clean. There are a couple of surface marks, which do not interfere with play. The spindle hole shows no wear and few marks around it. The record jacket is in excellent condition, very little wear on the cover or the liner notes.
