Description
Original 1968 U.S. pressing of The Beatles s/t 'White Album'. This is the rare and highly sought after early pressing containing all 6 printing errors on the labels.'Ob-La-Di-Ob-La-Da' reads,'Obladi-Oblada',The Continuing Adventures Of Bungalow Bill reads simply,'Bungalow Bill','Rocky Raccoon' reads,'Rocky Racoon' Revolution #'s 1 & 9 are prefaced by a 'No' where there should be none. Finally,'Good Night reads 'Goodnight'. Upon release of the album,Lennon noticed these mistakes and had them corrected on future pressings but not before some had already entered the marketplace. Cover is clean and solid with a unique individual # of A1782448. Records are a very clean VG+(Grading is conservative). Play graded as well and sounded good w/ only a sporadic very light intermittent crackle, mostly heard in between tracks and not often at all. Very nice, clean playback. All inserts are present. Poster has typical seam wear from being folded but is clean & fully intact. Stored upright in rice paper audiophile sleeves and 2 poly outer sleeves since acquiring. Beautiful complete original 1968 1st press copy from my own personal collection. Thanks for your interest and I will answer any questions quickly and accurately as possible.(This is MY own description-not a cut and paste as I've seen elsewhere..)***Matrice #'s are as follows-following the cat #..Side1-'J46 #4'...Side 2-'J46 #2'...Side 3-'J-47 small 'II'...Side 4-'J45 #2'***
