Description Of Item For Sale: This is a sale of a genuine 1st Press Mono LP from 1963, in a pretty shocking sleeve, but the record is a very good player. What is special here, except for the pretty reasonable Vinyl is the very rare Christmas card, SEASONS GREETINGS FROM THE DIRECTORS AND STAFF OF THE CAVERN. DETAILS WILL BE GIVEN BELOW MY RECORD LISTING.

Vinyl: Very Good, shows some light surface marks, and a little dust, but seems to be a good player.

Sleeve: Poor. Please see my pictures. It is still in one piece, but is pretty nasty. I have a better sleeve with a worse record, but that has 7 N Matrix number, I just want to keep this lot together, it came from a collection of unusual Beatles items such as Calendars, Cuddly Toys, Cavern Club Carrier Bags, etc. This actual record had the rare Christmas card inside, I would not usually sell a record with such a bad sleeve, but strangely, the record is very respectable, and the card, I feel would be lovely framed.

Inner Sleeve: Original EMITEX inner, split partially on two sides..

Extra Items: CAVERN CLUB "SEASONS GREETINGS" CARD. THIS HAS SOME STAIN, OR YELLOWING TOWARDS THE RIGHT HAND SIDE, PLEASE SEE PICTURE. I don't know how rare these where, or who got to get them, but it's surely a nice item for a Beatles collector, as it came with a Beatles collection, although I can't offer any type of provenance, I am sure it found it's way to a fan of the Beatles, rather than just somebody related to the Cavern Club. I am starting my Auction at £20, I would keep this item for any less than that, but I see somebody from Canada has an identical card, without the stain, and is asking £50 approx., I don't think £20 with the 1st Press earliest edition of the record is too much to ask.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN WATCHING MY SALES, I HAVE NEARLY RUN OUT OF MAILING ENVELOPES, AND WON'T BE BUYING ANY MORE, I HAVE MAYBE 12 MORE TO DO IN APRIL, THEN IT WILL ALL GO IN A JOB LOT, AND I HAVE ONE MORE BIG JOG LOT OF LP'S TO GO AS SOON AS I OBTAIN A SUITABLE BOX, THEN I START ON SINGLES, EP'S AND RARE REGAE. THERE IS A CHANCE I HAVE 50 MORE BOB DYLAN BOOTLEGS IN THE ATTIC, IF SO, I WILL GET SOME MAILERS AND SELL THEM, AS THEY WILL BE GOOD, I'M SURE I HAVE ANOTHER TEN OF SWORDS BOX SET, JUST CAN'T FIND IT, BUT HAVE NOT REALLY LOOKED.

CONDITION:

All Items are Graded As In The Record Collector 2006 Price Guide,in Brief these grades are as follows:

Mint-Unplayed,sealed or as good as an unplayed undamaged item,.

Excellent-Some signs the record has been played,very little lessening in sound quality.The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good-Been Played many times,no major deterioration in sound,despite noticeable surface marks,occational light scratch.Normal wear & tear on the cover or extra items,without major defect is acceptable.

Good-Played so much,used so much,sounds bad,many problems such as splits,stains etc.

Fair-Just Playable-not nice.

TRACKS ARE: Probably available on Google.Also if I have made scans of labels or sleeve,click to supersize,and read them that way.

POSTAGE & PACKING:

I don't use Postage to make money.I try and weigh the parcels before I list the items and add packing cost to the postage cost.Sometimes I can't weigh 1st(Usually if I have to make a home-made parcel for odd sized items)and if I do that,I will make my best educated guess of the postage cost,but I don't often pack home made parcels before the bidding ends,because many people want to ask questions,so sometimes,I could be a little out.I do pack in secure parcels.

Cheque,Postal Order,Cash On Collection.Postage cost will not be needed for collection,package will be charged for only if you need it,which you should not need if you collect yourself.Paypal is available as I have to offer it,although I personally would rather avoid it,I have to allow it.I despatch very quickly so don't worry,you'll soon get your goods if you are quick to pay.
