On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called ‘SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND’ and is an Original MONO UK 1st Pressing!!!! HOWEVER THIS COPY IS MEGA MEGA RARE!!!! This has to be one of the rarest copies of SGT PEPPERS ever due to it being a 1st press and its sublime condition!!!!
A very rare and beautiful LP: constantly scaling the heights of album charts around the world, Sgt Peppers is generally considered to be the best album EVER MADE! This copy comes complete with the original 1967 UK Parlophone label: Long Play, Mono vinyl 33 1/3 rpm disc set, with gatefold cover sleeve and untouched cut outs. These special cut outs really are in perfect condition, remarkably considering they are nearly 40 years old! The best you will ever see, I’m not joking when I say they are AS NEW, MINT condition! You know this is the first pressing when it has the Yellow & Black Label, a KT tax code, 'Sold in the UK' text, and the 'Gramophone Company' edge text. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.
The serial number is PMC 7027 making it a very Rare First Print! Especially as it is in mono!!!! Don’t be fooled by the discs that are in stereo, they are much more modern. This is the very first released edition from 1967!! Much more valuable than any Stereo edition! This edition seriously is impossible to find anywhere, an unbeatable collector’s item!!!
You know it's a first pressing when the record has the following information:
First pressings (1967) - Mono only versions
The standard yellow block writing Parlophone label.
The "All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label starts with "The Gramophone Co. Ltd."
The label DOES have "Sold in the U.K..." statement.
The sleeve is gatefold, the inner sleeve is white, and there is a cardboard cut-out insert.
The ridged disc has very little signs of use and plays fantastically with no scratches at all!
Anyone who has only previously heard it on CD is in for a real treat, as the vinyl version has so much more vibrant sound and richness that they lost in the digital conversion. You really can notice subtle differences especially in the songs with the background crowd noise. This is how the Beatles intended it!
THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as dazzling as the visual!!!! IT PLAYS STUNNINGLY with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brilliant!!!! The Cover is in not in the best condition about what youd expect for its age for its age!!!! It has edge wear, NO spinal wear, Corner wear (NOT through the colour) and only a few light creases. The opening edge has some feathering!!!! The unlamenated back of the cover is in good condition with NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly Impossible to find any copies of a first press! Just look at this RARE Beatles LP!!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL RARE MONO COPY OF "SGT PEPPERS" BY THE BEATLES, IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!! This record is astoundingly gorgeous!
