Description
Here for sale is a uk 1st press issue of the beatles self titled double album from 1968..also known as THE WHITE ALBUM (pcs 7067/8)
YEX 709-1 (6-GGM)
YEX 710-1 (6-GRH)
YEX 711-1 (2-R)
YEX 712-1 (2-PH)
The top opening gatefold cover is in VERY GOOD condition,No writing nowhere.the front which has the low number 0340491 which is clearly visible has just the usual ageing and record indentation wear,the back which has "stereo" in the top corner again has ring wear and a noticeable mark,there are creases and a tiny tear at the bottom.Along the spine the laminate is slightly lifting.The spine although no split does have some wear and laminate flaking
The 2 black inners have splits and tears but are present..poster is missing as are the pictures
The labels which have the "Sold in uk" text are very clean,sides 3/4 omit "An E.M.I Recording"
Both records are in VERY GOOD condition with some scratches and hairline marks..but no fingernail scratches,all sides play well...play EXCELLENT with just a little light background noise which in no way affects the sound quality.it does not stick or jump
A decent player copy!!
