Description:
Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique discs, this one by The Beatles. The cover has some issues (described below), the record plays well.
Several unique things about this item:
Firstly, this disc retains the original shine with some very light marks grading by sight in normal room light. I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint. If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you.
I took the time to play it and found the tracks to audibly average about half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. You can assign your own grade based on my comments and the grading scale shown below. A track-by-track detailed analysis is provided below.
Secondly, this is an unpeeled Butcher cover (second state). I can see Ringo's collar about an inch to the right of the trunk when I tilt it at a slight angle. May not be visible with my scanner! RIAA 6 on the back lower right corner.
So this is your chance to own a unique item at a reasonable price. Bid early and often so you don't miss out on this item!
It is further described below, please take the time to read before bidding.
Please message thru e-bay if questions.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).
Here is a summary of the record(s):
Artist: The Beatles Title: Yesterday ... and Today Record: Black vinyl with the original shine with some very light marks grading by sight in normal room light
Cover: (SEE SCANS!) Light/moderate general/ring wear front and back. Top and spine seams with a centered 3" seam split. Upper outer corner worn with a 1/3" seam split. Bottom lower outer corner with a 2" seam split. Some scattered seam wear. Back has humidity spots around the edges. "502.1" written back upper right corner. A few small magic marker marks back upper left corner. Three small check marks by the first three songs on side one. No stickers. Rate the cover G to VG. The cover does seem to be slightly smaller than other Capitol covers I own.
Labels: Black with silver print, rainbow colorband, oval logo on top (see scans). No pen/pencil marks, some spindle marks, some center hole wear on side 2. Inner sleeve: A generic, white sleeve will be provided. Outer sleeve: A clear, plastic sleeve will be provided. Trailing wax: Side 1: "T-1-2553-F-23- 2 *". Side 2: "T-2-2553-G-20 1".
Comments: I found the tracks to audibly AVERAGE about half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. You can assign your own grade based on my detailed track analysis below. An unusual and rare addition to your collection.
Side 1: Comments: Drive my car - Some light pops at the beginning followed by very light to light surface noise (3.0). I'm only sleeping - Some very, very light surface noise and very, very light pops (3.3) Nowhere man - Some very, very light surface noise and very light pops (3.2) Dr. Robert - Some very, very light surface noise (3.8) Yesterday - Some very, very light surface noise and very, very light pops (3.5) Act naturally - Some very, very light surface noise (3.8)
Side 2:Comments: And your bird can sing - Some very, very light surface noise (3.6) If I needed someone - Some very light surface noise and very light pops (3.2) We can work it out - Some very light surface noise and very light pops (3.35) What goes on? - Some very, very light surface noise (3.8) Day tripper - Some very, very light surface noise (3.7)
Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:
NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint) 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective) VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise
