Up for auction is a vinyl lp copy of THE BEATLES' classic album 'Yesterday And Today'.
Album was released in 1966 on Capitol Records in the US as ST 2553 in Stereo.
This is an original early 2nd State 'Butcher Cover'
2nd State covers of Yesterday and Today are referred to that as they have the unpeeled paste-over of the 2nd version/more common cover on top of the original.
Back Cover has RIAA # 6 on lower right-hand corner area of cover.

Matrix:
Side 1: T-1-2553 - F-17 -  / 2 / * /
Side 2: T-2-2553-G-18- / 2 / * /

Condition:
Vinyl is in VG- (Very Good minus) visual grade condition with a few feelable scratches visible.
I played the album and I would call it an overall VG listen.
This particular copy is obviously more about the album cover.
Album Cover shows mild shelf and handling wear. Front cover paste over 'Trunk' cover slick was placed off-center so that the edge of the Butcher cover is visible underneath.
Ringo's v-neck is visible underneath the trunk cover paste-over slick.
The cover itself has a bottom seam split that measures the full-length across from bottom opening edge to about 2/3 up along the spine seam. There is a top seam split that measures about 8 inches across from top opening edge. Back Cover shows evidence of soiling/aging.
Includes original Capitol Records factory sleeve .
