Description

This is a 3rd state (trunk cover peeled off to reveal the original "BUTCHER"cover) MONO copy of The Beatles "Yesterday and Today" album. Cat. #T 2553

I am the original owner of this album and did the peel myself a very short time after purchasing the album in 1966. The entire peel is one of the cleanest you will see. Almost looks like a 1st state album that never had a paste over.

The album was purchased in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. at either Bradly's or Merit's dept. store. This peel came out very nice, exceptionally clean. 

Vinyl is scratched and I have not played it in 40 + years.

The inner sleeve is in good condition.

The jacket shows very little wear around the edges, no splits.  Most of the cellophane is still on the cover. The cellophane on the back of the album has been taped to the actual album cover  .My initials, J.W. are written on the back of the album cover in black marker. 

Overall, this is an excellent Butcher Cover worthy of being framed or displayed and would make a great addition to your collection. The flaws described above do not detract from the superb quality condition of the Butcher Cover itself!
