Here is an original unopened Beatles LP. This is Yesterday and Today.
The "Butcher Cover", as it's known, was the infamous original album cover for this 1966 US record titled "Yesterday and Today". It was initially authorized for release but quickly banned by Capitol records prior to commercial distribution due to immediate public outcry and negative response to the cover art. The controversial album cover featured The Beatles dressed in butcher's smocks surrounded by raw meat and decapitated doll parts. The scene was deemed too gruesome for the general public so it was replaced with a shot of the lads sitting on and around a steamer trunk.
