Description
This item is a mono copy of The Beatles Yesterday and Today Capitol T 2553. This lp is a 2nd state (trunk cover paste over) "Butcher Cover". The V of Ringo's Shirt is clearly visable through the paste over sleeve (I am not a good photographer I could not get the image to register). A previous owner peeled a very small section on the lower left side of the cover and the Butcher cover is clearly visable (see photos). This is 100% guaranteed to be a 2nd state mono paste over. This is an LA pressing. The front cover has had a label pasted on it and removed (see photos). The back cover has yellowed from age and has a name written on it. The top seam is split about 1 inch in the middle. The bottom seam is worn about 1 1/2 inches but is not split through. The spine is worn in spots. I have been told buy a professional restorer this is an excellent candidate for a peel job. The disc has light scratches and plays through and has a name written on one side of the label (see photos), at a glance it looks good but is far from mint.
