This is a rare complete UK press of the 'White Album' by The Beatles. This press has the top opening sleeve, dark green Apple labels, ''Sold In The UK' label text, black inner sleeves, all four photographs and the lyric poster. The records have the earliest 1/1/1/1 matrix and the original wonderful heavy vinyl. The vinyl is fabulous, the labels are perfect and the sleeve is superb. It also has the earliest press poster and postcards, not glossy light paper reissues. However, it is not just the fabulous condition that makes this White Album so special, it is a genuine complete press; it has the original and exceptionally rare white light paper spacer. This is without doubt one of the finest copies we have ever owned.

Record One is in Excellent+ condition. The vinyl on each side has a sensational high gloss, with no whitening of the grooves at all, there are just a couple of the lightest hairlines on each side but absolutely NO significant wear at all. The wispy marks don't even look like needle marks, they look like they are from the inner sleeve. The dark green Apple labels are completely clean and absolutely perfect. The green is exceptionally bold, and the white is bright. The black text is sharp and there is NO spindle wear at all, just a very faint almost impossible to see spider mark. On playing the sound is sensational - rich, vibrant and exceptionally clear.

Record Two is in Excellent condition. The vinyl is in the most wonderful condition, exceptionally glossy with the original jet black gloss, there is just one tiny mark on Side 4. The labels are also absolutely sensational, the green and white are exceptionally bold and bright. No spindle wear at all, just one very faint spider mark. We carefully play graded this record and not surprisingly it sounds sensational. Superb audio separation, exceptional clarity, just a brief tiny click on the mark otherwise no audible distraction at all - vibrant, rich and fabulous.

The rare spacer is in Excellent condition. Completely clean, one very light small crease on the bottom edge but exceptionally solid and bright.

The records are complete with their original black inner sleeves. They show little sign of wear, the back is solid, there is one edge split otherwise all the edges are firm. The opening edges have none of the typical feathering, they are very firm and sharp. The centres are superb and the sleeves are solid.

The 1st press four photographs are in Near Mint condition. The colours are vivid and they all have their original just pressed sheen. They look absolutely fabulous.

The 1st press matt double sided poster is in Near Mint condition. The colours are bold, the whites and highlights are still exceptionally bright. The folds are firm and the edges sharp. The whole poster feels solid and looks completely clean.

The Garrod & Lofthouse top opening laminated sleeve is in Excellent+ condition. The laminate has an amazing high gloss and it is completely clean. The white has no discolouration, it is still exceptionally bright and the number and Beatles embossed text are sharp and entirely unworn, just like new. There is a little light ring wear at the base, but it is hardly noticeable. There is the slightest corner wear. On opening the cover still has the wonderful firm laminate creak. The inside images and text are superb. The flipbacks are sealed and complete with no discolouration of any kind. The edges are incredibly firm and unworn. The spine is sensational. It is exceptionally solid and the text is immaculate.
