Description
This is the BEATLES STEREO UK 2nd PRESSING LP "THE BEATLES" (The White Album) published in 1968 on the "Apple" label.
The second pressing features: laminated numbered side opening sleeve, matrix numbers ending -1,-1,-1,-1 , no "SOLD IN THE UK...." text and heavy weight vinyls (as with 1st pressing).

VINYLS EX. Beautiful mirror like playing surfaces - one very light finger nail mark - under light there is just one or two ultra light hairlines- fabulous condition both look almost mint. Both vinyls play very well - with just the oaccassional light crackle between one or two tracks. Matrix numbers:- YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1, YEX 711-1,YEX 712-1. 1 GPR, 6 GTO, 4 RAD, 3 GTO.
LABELS EX. Nice condition - no "Sold In The UK ".... text. see photos.
SLEEVE VG. Nice and clean - side opener - number 248865. Light stain on open edge. Polysleeve is also included.
INNER SLEEVES EX. Mat black with single window and flipbacks.
POSTER EX. No splits/tear or pin holes.
PHOTOS EX. Unmarked - no pin holes.
[My gradings are based on the "RECORD COLLECTOR'S" grading system. The following text is from the "RECORD COLLECTOR" price guide:-
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, with out any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.]
