THE BEATLES WHITE ALBUM

“SERIAL NUMBER IS 0112604 TOP LOADER COVER, TWO ORIGINAL BLACK DUST BAGS COMPLETE WITH POSTER AND FOUR PHOTO’S”.

Produced in 1968 in the UK and bought new by my father way back then this album has not been played for almost forty years until my test play.

Both disc’s have been test played on my Rega Turntable and they both play and sound excellent. Visually there are some surface scratches but nothing much come's through on the audio.

The cover is Gate fold with the earlier Top loading and has been in a protective cover for at least the last forty years. The is some slight discoloring and very light signs of ring wear.

The original Black inner bags are complete showing no signs of tears. The inner bags again have not been used for about forty years as the discs were rehoused in plain sleeve's early in their life.

The album comes complete with Four photo’s of The Fab Four and double sided Poster/Lyric sheet.

There is nothing on the discs to indicate if they are Mono or Stereo so please assume, as they are an early press, they are Mono ?

My Grading of the Vinyl and sleeve is VERY GOOD Plus.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

Postage: ?The standard mail option is via second class delivery at £3.75 All purchases above £45.00 will be invoiced for the insured Royal mail special delivery service at a price of £8.00.?

Buyers can request the cheaper postage option however it should be noted that the maximum refund offered by the post office will be £45.00 irrespective of the actual price or value of the record. It is always recommended that for expensive records that the Royal mail special delivery service is always used.

Packaging: All records are sent in proper hard cardboard mailers. Before packing the record and inner sleeve are removed from the record cover for sleeve protection
