Gatefold Sleeve (laminated on the outside, unlaminated on the inside).

No embossed "The Beatles" on the front cover.

No number.

Side opening sleeve.

"STEREO" printed top right on rear cover in gold. Besides the spine, this is the only writing on the front or back of the sleeve. 

Records labeled RECORD ONE SIDE ONE & SIDE TWO and RECORD TWO SIDE ONE & SIDE TWO (Not Side 1,2,3,4).

Spine reads "THE BEATLES PCSJ (S) 7067/8" in gold.

Labels read PCSJ 7067 (Record 1) &  PCSJ 7067 (Record 2) (No 'S' on the labels at all although the word STEREO appears under the catalogue number.

Inner gatefold as U.K. issue. (No INTERPAK, which would denote a South African pressing). The details on the spine are however the South African pressing.

Tracks D1 and D5 correctly listed on inner gatefold as Revolution 1 and Revolution 9 respectively but both titled 'Revolution' on the label.

"Birthday" appears twice on the label for RECORD TWO Side 1.

Plain white inner sleeves.

No poster / No photos (It is not clear whether this pressing was issued with them or not).

John's lead vocal in the final part of "Happiness is a Warm Gun" was mixed very low, much quieter than the (so-called) backing vocals.

Researching this pressing has been both frustrating and fascinating as I was unable to find any information on this actual item - just pointers on different aspects of it. I believe it would be an important addition to a BEATLES collection.

CONDITION : 

All 4 sides have a shiny, glossy finish. There is unfortunately a scratch on RECORD ONE Side 2 across the first 2 tracks and the very start of the 3rd track which does impact on the sound with pops and a few skips. The rest of the tracks on both albums play through beautifully and if not for the scratch would have been a very strong VG+ throughout. There is no writing and no stickers on any of the labels. All spindle holes are in excellent condition.The outer sleeve is laminated with no lifting or bubbling at all. Quite honestly, this is the best looking White Album sleeve I have seen. There appears to be light water 'stains' on each corner (inside and outside the sleeve). PLEASE SEE PHOTOS. The spine is in excellent condition with all information perfectly legible.
