UK Dark Apple label PCS 7067 / 68  Stereo 2LP with Gatefold Sleeve Numbered 0100547

A very interesting issue - Dark Apple labels omitting 'Sold In The UK Subject To ...' ......... Labels 1 , 2 and 3 have 'An EMI Recording' in a straight line , but Label 4 has 'An EMI Recording' in brackets

The Laminated Gatefold Sleeve (no inner flipover) has the 7 Digit Series Numbering 0100547 - from 1972 onwards EMI changed the numbering to 6 Digits (for some reason)

This is one of the limited issues that were numbered using the series from 0100000 onwards ..... I  had Side Opening Number 0101125 some years ago , so it seems not many in this series of numbering were issued ........

As EMI repressed The Beatles catalogue usually every two years this would date this album to 1970 / 1972 - no later

The Discs have light use ....  bright surface gloss .... no marks , a couple of faint traces only  .... lovely bright , clean labels ....  light trace of  spindle use .... Outstanding sound quality throughout  : Graded at  EXCELLENT  condition.

The  Sleeve (Mono and Stereo numbers on spine , but not on rear panel)  has mild  ageing   .... bright and quite  clean .... mild ripple  ... nice edges and spine  : Graded at Near EXCELLENT  condition.

The Poster and 4 Photo's have light use only   : EXCELLENT condition.

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly

All items carefully packaged using proper cardboard packaging (I do not use low quality preformed mailers)

The discs are placed seperately from the sleeves within the package to avoid splitting or damage . Items are sent promptly - usually within one working day of payment .
