Description
THE BEATLES - WHITE ALBUM ( U.K. APPLE 1973 RE-PRESSING WITH 4 PHOTOS AND POSTER)
THE VINYL IS GRADED AS FOLLOWS: SIDE 1, 3 & 4 ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION; THERE ARE SOME SURFACE HAIRLINES MARKS WHICH ARE ONLY VISIBLE UNDER STRONG LIGHT. SIDE 2 IS IN VERY GOOD CONDTION; MAINLY EXCELLENT ALTHOUGH THERE IS A SURFACE MARK ON TRACK ONE WHICH PRODUCES SOME VERY LIGHT CLICKS DURING PLAYBACK.
THE LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION OVERALL. THE SPINE IS INTACT AND THE TOP EDGE IS UNMARKED. THERE ARE JUST TWO SMALL SCUFFS ON THE BOTTOM EDGE.
THE PHOTOS ARE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION AS THEY HAVE BEEN KEPT INSIDE THE ALBUM FROM NEW. THERE IS JUST ONE TINY SURFACE CREASE ON THE BOTTOM LEFT TIP OF THE CORNER OF JOHN LENNON'S PHOTO.
THE POSTER IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND, AS WITH THE PHOTOS, HAS BEEN KEPT INSIDE THE ALBUM.
THIS DOUBLE ALBUM WAS RELEASED IN 1973 ON APPLE RECORDS CAT. NO. PCS 7067.
THE MATRIX NUMBERS ARE YEX 709-3 / 710-6 / 711-2 / 712-2.
ALL THE ALBUMS I SELL ARE VERY SECURELY PACKAGED WITH AT LEAST FOUR STIFFENERS AND NEW PLASTIC SLEEVES. I ALWAYS PLACE THE VINYL OUTSIDE THE OUTER COVER TO AVOID DAMAGING THE COVER IN TRANSIT. I ONLY USE THE HIGHEST GRADE PACKAGING TO ENSURE THE RECORDS ARRIVE IN THE CONDITION I STATE IN MY LISTINGS.
Grading
I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Packaging
Items are sent in new plastic sleeves and high quality, professional record packaging, with at least four stiffeners for protection.
