Visually the records are in very good condition.
Although difficult to see see in the photographs, they all have some surface scratches but they have little or no impact on the sound. The thick vinyl records have been play tested and are all in very rich sounding condition with occasional crackling sounds. No skips whatsoever.
The labels are in VG + condition with moderate spindle marks. Side one has the K T Tax code.
SLEEVE DETAILS
The numbered sleeve (0503662) is the iconic top-loading version by Garrod and Lofthouse International Ltd. It is in VG + condition. The covers are nice and bright with just a few laminate tics (see bottom left hand corner of sleeve). The cover retains a fine shine and appearance with a nice ivory colour. THE BEATLES is embossed and the number is very nice and clean. As can be seen in the photos, the wide spine is intact and the wording appears nicely, but it is important to note that the laminate of the spine has peeled for the most part, causing uneven coloration. This record will need to be kept in a protective cover to safeguard the sleeve. “Stereo” appears at the top right hand side of the back sleeve ensuring that this is the proper stereo sleeve.
ACCESSORIES
The original black inner sleeves are in VG condition only as the label perimeter circles have some small rips. . The photos are excellent condition, the poster in VG.

I base my grading on the "RECORD COLLECTOR'S" grading system. The following text is from the "RECORD COLLECTOR" price guide:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,
despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, with out any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
