The Sleeve: 1st & original inner Flip back wide spine Top-Loader sleeve in a VG-/ VG condition.

It is fully laminated with some storage wear and blemishes along the edges, and only light outer record ring wear. All text legible and pictorials clear and glossy and has held original colour well and is clean. There is no handwriting or writing imprints, and no stickers or sticker residue. Inside the gatefold is very good, smooth and glossy with light creasing near opening, but with clear text print and excellent unblemished black & white square pictorials of each band member. First issue White Album sleeves were made in order to allow the vinyl LP's to be inserted from the top. The word 'Stereo' is printed on the back, which was not always the case, all mono were left blank as were some stereo sleeves.

The first issue sleeves were numbered 0000001 (the copy Ringo Starr was given) to 0600000 which held 1st and 2nd mono and stereo pressings (the vast majority of the first half for mono, the vast majority of the second half for stereo). The 7 digit number on all of these first sleeves begins with a '0'. This is copy number 0319892, which is low for a stereo pressing.

The laminate along the spine's length inside is intact, the outer spine has some delamination but all original title and catalogue number text is legible. The laminate everywhere else inside the gatefold is also complete, and the sleeve is firm and flat and intact everywhere, including the inner partition.

There are no rips or splits anywhere. The sleeve is sturdy and firm and hold the records and inserts well.

Inner Sleeves: The White Album came with black inner sleeves with a circular aperture on the front to allow the record labels to be seen, with fold-over side seams on to full cover backs, and very rarely survive well. These original black inners are in a Good condition. Each one has a small tear on the circular aperature, one has a side split of around 5cm, and one has a 3cm split from top edge. Otherwise both sturdy with no other issues and hold records well.

Poster: Excellent Condition. No marks or blemishes, survived extremely well.

The Four Portrait Photographs: Again, Excellent Condition. No creases, hardly removed from sleeve

The Vinyl: The vinyl surfaces range from Very Good to Very Good Plus condition. There are no feelable or deep scratches on either side of either discs, but there are some stylus hairline marks which are mainly viewable under strong light, but some more easily seen longer on the first disc in normal light. There are no scuffs or warps or dinks in the vinyl or anything that causes any noticeable detractions to the audio. The glossy sheen is still present and there are no areas of dulling or groove wear. The records have received a fair amount plays commensurate with age and are in an above average condition.

The records lay completely flat on the turntable.

Heavy robust sixties vinyl's weighing at around 160 grams.

Labels are all Very Good Plus. All text is clear and bright, the perimeter area around the spindle location is neat and mostly with no fraying to the label around it, there are some spindle line traces can be seen in normal light but are not heavy.

The Audio: The audio grades at consistently near Excellent across the discs. Both discs play through well on both sides, with no pops, no background noises such as crackle, and there are no skips/jumps or sticks. There are some audible ticks now and again, where to be expected i.e. the quieter interludes on a couple of the tracks on either record, but on the whole record plays seamlessly without any static ticks, offering a crisp and smooth original stereo rendition of which many critics regard as The Beatles finest masterpiece.

The vinyl sides 1, 2, 3 and 4 are all from the very first stereo master recording.

The labels on the first record omit the 'An E.M.I. Recording' text, and have the darker green apples.

This LP will be securely delivered in a professional cardboard LP mailer with cardboard stifferners. 

A plain generic inner sleeve will house the records and the originals will be placed separately to prevent tears during delivery.

A protective PVC 180 gsm gatefold sleeve is included to house the LP as shown.

This White Album will be delivered by recorded delivery in the UK.

Overseas postage will be tracked and a tracking number given.
