THE BEATLES ‘WHITE ALBUM’ CAPITOL SWBO-101 AMERICAN DOUBLE LP VINYL STEREO 

Capitol Records inc USA Apple label SWBO-101. Made in USA, manufactured by Capitol Records Inc. Serial number on bottom right-hand corner of front cover: A2326843. Run off numbers: (side 1) SWBO1-101-J58#2 (side 2) SWBO2-101-J46#3 (side 3) SWBO3-101-J47#3 (side 4) SWBO4-101-J44”. All sides’ run offs etched with letters ‘IAM’ within a triangle.

The records have some light surface scratch lines but play without any distortion, crackle, interruptions or jumps. I played the records through before listing.

The inner paper sleeves are in good condition with the exception of a 2cm/0.75in vertical tear on the top edge of one.

The double gatefold white sleeve is in fair condition. The spine is firm and intact. It has grubby marks, ringwear, some loss of glossy surface and brown speckles from ageing and storage. There are minor splits at the top corners of the open edges. The gatefold is side opening.  

The folded sheet of lyrics backed by the illustrated glossy poster is in good condition except a few of the folds have parted slightly along their edges.

There were 4 glossy portrait pictures (dimensions 27.5cm x 19.8cm/10.75in x 7.75in) printed in USA of John, Paul, George and Ringo included with the original double album. The picture of George has been lost in the mists of time leaving only 3. The picture of Ringo has a minute nick off the top right-hand corner of the border and does not impinge on the actual image. The corners of the  3 remaining images are sharp and there are no bends, creases or dog ears.

Due to the rarity of the album it will be sent by Royal Mail Signed For service.

End of auction: The buyer should make contact within 3 days of the auction ending and make payment within 5 days of the auction ending unless otherwise agreed. An eBay reminder will be sent if contact/payment is not made within this period.

Payment: PayPal only.   

Packaging: The LPs will be enclosed in cellophane, placed in stiffened protective packaging and posted by Signed For First or Second Class Small Parcel mail (buyer's choice). Buyer pays for postage only, not for packaging or eBay fees. Due to the dimensions of the package it is designated by the Post Office as a Small Parcel and postage is priced accordingly. 

Postage: First Class £4.40 Second Class £3.90 Signed For Small Parcel. 

Despatch: Will post to UK only. Item will be mailed within one working day of receiving payment (please check the postmark). I always obtain a Royal Mail Proof of Posting.

I am unable to do anything about the high cost of postage now charged by Royal Mail. If you check the postage label/stamps on the package you will see that you were only asked to pay the actual amount charged by the Royal Mail.
