'The Beatles' aka 'The White Album' double LP, an essential album in any serious vinyl collection!
This is an original UK 1st stereo pressing on thick vinyl with -1/-1/-1/-1 matrix endings and the 1st issue top-loading laminated and numbered gatefold sleeve - 30 songs inc Back In The USSR, Revolution, Helter Skelter, Dear Prudence, Blackbird, While My Guitar Gently Weeps - please ask for full tracklisting
CONDITION (vinyl/cover)
Both discs have numerous light surface marks from sleeve removal and signs of many plays but they actually play a lot better then they look; apart from a a scratch which causes a jump at the start of 'Back In The USSR' there's no serious marks or wear and both records play great with a really nice clean clear sound and just some occasional minimal background surface noise that does not spoil the music; there's no loud crackle, no repetitive clicks and no disturbing heavy noises; if you can put up with the little jump at the start then these are very nice playing copies for the collection; overall grade VG
All 4 labels are bright and clean with no writing or labels. The 'Sold In The UK...' text indicates a 1st issue pressing.
/ The laminated top-loading gatefold sleeve (numbered 0374240) is in decent solid condition with light storage wear/ageing only; the glossy laminate is flat and shows only a handful of minor creases and some light discolouration/foxing/storage marks; opening edges show minor feathering and there's cracking to the laminate on the spine; inside the gatefold, again there's hardly a crease, flipbacks are nice and tight, just some yellowing with age. No splits, tears or significant ringwear. Overall graded VG
