Description

This looks like a much loved double album which unfortunately needs some TLC as it does not appear to have had any!

Below are the details...warts and all!! I have tried to cover everything but if I’ve missed anything...just ask. I am not too familiar with vinyl records but I’ll do my best.

This is an original 1968 release double album. In order to determine whether it is Mono or Stereo, I compared catalogue and matrix numbers on the vinyls to the references given on this site: http://www.jpgr.co.uk/pcs7067.html

The Beatles white album very early mono press PMC 7067 / 7068 with dark green apple labels on one side and white apple labels on the other. Top loader complete with original black liners. The liners are damaged as shown in pics. With creasing and splits.

Sleeve a little ‘grubby’ and ‘tatty’.  some age/storage wear to corners and edges some age discolouration (see pics}. In numbered top loader sleeve number no.0287297.

The records have some surface marks and scratches which I have tried to photograph. There is a heavy scratch on side 4 approx. one inch in length plus other surface scratches; side 3 has surface scratches but doesn’t look too bad; side one has a long scratch approx. 3 inches and side 2 just has some minor surface marks... this side looks the best of the lot! Not played as I don’t have a player. No poster or photos.

Matrix numbers - side 1 - XEX 709-1 / side 2- XEX 710 -1 side 3- XEX 711 -1 side 4 - XEX - 712-1

On the white label of side four, there are four raised letters : K; T; J.
