ARTIST/TITLE: THE BEATLES - WE CAN WORK IT OUT / DAY TRIPPER - RARE (EMI PRESSING ?) ROLLED EDGE/CENTRE NM! PARLOPHONE R 5389
MATRIX 7XCE 18341-4 12 ARM KT
7XCE 18342-1 12 AAL KT
AS FAR AS I KNOW THERE ARE NO CONTRACT PRESSINGS OF THIS.
I HAVE SEARCHED EVERYWHERE FOR A COPY LIKE THIS. ALL OTHERS ARE STANDARD PARLOPHONE PRESSINGS. THIS APPEARS TO BE EMI/APPLE (C1969) DUE TO THE PUSH OUT CENTRE HAVING AN INNER RING AND SLIGHT DIP ON A-SIDE. B-SIDE HAS A SMALLER INNER RING MARK.
THE OUTER EDGE IS ROLLED AND NOT LIKE ANY OTHER COPY OF R5389 I HAVE SEEN ANYWHERE.
THE LABEL HOWEVER HAS 'PARLOPHONE REC CO.LTD' ON THE RIM AND SOLD IN UK PRINT.
IT ALSO WEIGHS 1/2g LESS THAN OTHER COPIES I HAVE.
CONDITION: VINYL: NEAR MINT WITH NO REAL SIGNS OF BEING PLAYED. CLEAN LABELS. COMES IN A COMPANY SLEEVE, THAT MAY HAVE GENERAL WEAR. SEE PHOTOS. AS PER RRPG GRADINGS.
PLEASE CHECK ZOOM PHOTOS FOR MORE DETAILS OF OVERALL CONDITION etc
ANY ITEM SELLING FOR £20+ WILL NEED TO BE SIGNED FOR, OR OVERSEAS TRACKED/SIGNED AT EXTRA COST PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE. THANK YOU.
MULTIPLE PURCHASE P & P DISCOUNTS:-.
PLEASE NOTE GRADINGS AS PER RRPG BELOW.
PLEASE EMAIL IF MORE INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
RETURNS ACCEPTED IF NOT HAPPY.
Grading System: In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added a (+) or (-) to my grading?s where applicable.
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
