Description
This is the 1964 Capitol Records label release of The Beatles "Something New" (T 2108). This original 1964 pressing includes the early red inner sleeve.
CONDITION of VINYL: This very shiny vinyl has been test full test palyed on both side and produces a very smooth MONO sound throughout with no surface noise, pops or other distractions. There are a few very light scuffs and scratches tht do not impact the sound. A past owner has written one's name in the yellow part of the label rainbow on side 2. We rate this vinyl's overall condition as a solid Very Good Plus (VG+) under Goldmine guidelines. It comes with the early original red Capitol inner sleeve (with untaped 6" bottom center slit).
CONDITION of JACKET: The jacket's front cover has some fading at top and bottom and has a past owner name in green ink within the bottom of cover photo. Seams are intact all around with exception of 1/2" at upper right where corner has softened. There is some very minor cracking from age on side seams. The back cover is fully legible but also has some past owner added writings in fade green ink at upper left. There is some residue at bottom right where a past sticker was removed (SEE PHOTOS). We rate this outer jacket condtion to be Very Good (VG) under Goldmine Guidelines. A new poly slip-on outer sleeve is included to help preserve this gem for another 53+ years.
The vinyl within the inner sleeve will be separated from jacket during shipment to help guard against seam damage to the outer jacket.
