Here I have a copy of
The Beatles
'The Beatles' aka 'The White Album'
on rare numbered limited edition original UK stereo 1968 pressing 2 x LP in embossed 'The Beatles' & imprinted 'stereo' fully laminated # 0390504 top opening gatefold picture sleeve with die cut black paper inner sleeves & dark green paper labels & 4 colour photograph inserts & folded poster
matrices are stamped 4 YEX 709-1 OH & stamped 1 YEX 710-1 H I & stamped 1 YEX 711-2 G P D & stamped 2 YEX 712-1 G D H
released on EMI / Apple Records PCS 7067/8 in 1968
The condition of the records are very good with very light hairlines and overall play through very well with occasional light surface noise and two minor jumps detailed below.
Record 1 side 1 & side 2 play through really well with no issues just very light very occasional surface noise, the odd very light pop / click but nothing noticable.
Record 2 side 3 plays through with the very occasional light surface noise on the quieter moments, light pops / clicks and 'Long, Long, Long' has a very slight one second jump approx 40 seconds into the track. Side 4 plays through with the occasional light surface noise , light pops / clicks 'Savoy Truffle' has a very slight one second jump approx 30 seconds into the track and a few light clicks on 'Cry Baby Cry' and 'Good Night' .
The numbered laminated embossed gatefold sleeve has a small laminate rip & stain on the top edge and a couple of 1cm tears on the reverse top edge but overall in very good shape.
The black die cut inner sleeves have some scuffing that have been coloured in and a couple of small tears / splits. Record 2 inner has a large tear on the reverse that has been repaired and a couple of small tears.
The poster is excellent and has very mild foxing spots but no rips or tears and hasn't been previously hung.
The photos have very mild creasing but overall are excellent.
The labels are clean with a few light spindle marks.
A very good copy of this 1968 original top opening numbered laminated UK stereo pressing copy of this Beatles classic album complete with poster & photographs !
