Details: Highly collectable 2 LP Set vinyl albums from the Fab Four. In gatefold sleeve with no inserts and plain white inner sleeves. "THE BEATLES" is embossed on the front Garrod & Lofthouse cover.
The labels state "Made In France by Pathe Marconi" around the label rim. They also state "Mfd in U.K.". It also states "STEREO - Ce disque peut etre utilise avec un lecteur MONO".
The Matrix Numbers are: YEX 709 1; YEX 710 1; YEX 711 1 & YEX 712 1.
I was sent the following information, which I am including in this listing, but cannot confirm it:
" This is a unique/rare pressing of The White Album that doesn't yet have full awareness by collectors:
It's a Special Contract Press by French Pathe Marconi for EMI UK...
AMAZINGLY (and fantastically) it is pressed from the 1st EVER EMI UK lacquers from the 1968 1st press "top loader"!
the matrix of each side has dual matrix stamps, one from Marconi that starts with M21,
THEN, the 1st-ever UK lacquer matrix stamps of YEX-709-1, YEX 710-1, 711-1 & 712-1.
In 1972 EMI rebuilt their Hayes UK pressing plant..
SO, while Hayes wasn't on line, EMI sent metal masters to French Marconi, who pressed the LPs & sent them back to the UK where they were inserted in genuine UK sleeves.
This is great for many reasons:
it is a way to get a White Album with IDENTICAL SONICS to the pricey 1968 top loader,
And, when more collectors seek them out, they will disappear from market FAST.
The vinyl is super hi-quality also.
Some say there are only 25,000 of these unique White LPs..

Condition – Cover: some light discolouration and light circle wear - sticker mark on back cover which could be removed with care - small tear out of bottom right corner on front (see photographs)
