Description

The Beatles The White Album LP First pressing with top loading numbered sleeve Number 0458431 Stereo PCS 7067/8 matrices YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1, YEX 711-1, XEX 712-1 Includes lyrics poster and portraits
Sleeve is in stunning Ex+ condition. Very clean and still very white. No unwanted writing or tears. Spine is solid, clean with no laminate splitting and is perfectly readable. Opening edges still very sharp. Just a couple of minor creases to front laminate. One of the best copies I have seen. A beautiful example. EX+.
Both Vinyl are very bright and glossy with just the faintest of sleeve removal scuffs visible under strong light. These records have not had much play at all. Sides 1, 2, and 4 grade as EX+ whilst side 3 grades as EX.  Both vinyl have a slight warp which doesn't seem to affect the audio. Audio is as expected. Very crisp and clear with no sticks, jumps or loud pops. Very little surface noise even between tracks. A great listen. Ex+ Labels have no writing, tears with only a couple of faint spindle marks. Again very little evidence of play. EX+ Portraits are also great with very little evidence of use. EX+ Lyrics poster has moderate signs of handling and a couple of tears along the seams so only grades as VG Original inners have moderate handling wear and tears to the middle hole. G+
Overall a fantastic EX+/Ex+ example of this early pressing.

Gradings;

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
