THE BEATLES "THE COLLECTION" MFSL,NM with Bonus

I still find it surprising when 50 years ago I wrote in my daughter's baby book that a musical group from England had come to America...I called them The Beetles!   Three years later, writing in my son's baby book, I corrected my spelling and remarked that The Beatles were alive and well and still commanded #1 hits time after time!  Little did I know that fifty years later, technology would afford me the privilege of saying "I knew them when..." !  
This Collection came to me when my brother passed in 1994.  I know this collection was precious to him.  He loved all things BEATLES. He shared his excitement when  his friends chipped in and bought this for his birthday. I know he took very good care of it because it was one of his most treasured possessions.
Along with the sale of THE COLLECTION, included is a BONUS:  The Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Catalogue dated 1983, Volume #1 is in like-new condition.  Also included is the card with a pix of the "fab four" by Dezo Hoffman, 1963.  The card came with the set and includes personal notes on the inside from his friends.
THE COLLECTION is in as near mint condition as you will find.  The set includes the Geo Disk, in box.  There is no evidence that it was used but I should assume it was.  There are a few scuffs on the corners of the storage box as evidenced in the pictures.  All fourteen Lp's are securely packaged in their original rice paper inner sleeves inserted into a stiffener board and then enclosed in a custom fabricated album jacket for enhanced protection.  The album covers are in perfect condition without dents or tears or stains.  The full covered glossy Artbook album looks as if it was never opened.  The Certificate of Authenticity is numbered 16,856.
He played each album once to make sure there were no imperfections and found that The Yellow Submarine did not meet his expectations.  I don't remember if it was in the sound or condition but he did send it back to MFSL and had a replacement sent to him.  Included and placed inside the covered album is a receipt dated March 1984 from MFSL showing that it was replaced.  The ink on that receipt has faded and does not show well in the pictures.  But it is included as part of the history of this set.
The Boxed Set has been kept in-house storage for all these years, dry and happy!
