Description

You are bidding for an original U.K. 1967 MONO copy of The Beatles ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ LP. Pressed on the Yellow & Black Parlophone label. This is one of the very first pressing which omits to mention ‘A Day In The Life’ on the Side 2 label. This has the correct Garrod & Lofthouse laminated sleeve, original (not matched later) white inner (later pressings had the red/white patterned version) and cartoon cut-out inserts. I’ve dealing in records since 1978 and never had one of these before, they don’t come up too often.

 

Record details: Catalogue Number PMC 7027. Matrix numbers XEX 637-1/XEX 638-1. Bush numbers: 37 WRR/2 DRM.

 

 

CONDITION: The sleeve is in EX- condition, has some creasing but no rips, tears or writing. Cartoon cut-out is Mint (they usually are!). The record is VG to VG+ The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface and the occasional light scratch. Both labels are clean, some ‘spider’ marks around the holes.

 

I’m offering this at a low starting price, way below ‘book value’, with no reserve. way below.
