THE BEATLES - STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER/PENNY LANE
PARLOPHONE R 5570                                       Released in the UK on 17th February 1967
With rare wavy top picture sleeve - only 250,000 were issued in the UK.
First pressing which features 'The Gramophone Co' rim text in upper case and 'Sold In UK Text'.

Matrices: 7XCE 18415-1 & 7XCE 18416-2  
Stamper codes: 3/OR & 3/AG

The vinyl is in excellent condition for a record which is 50 years old this year.
Strawberry Fields side - just some very faint wispy marks from removing the vinyl from the sleeve, the label   has a few slivery trails to the centre.
Penny Lane side - again some very faint wispy marks from removing the vinyl from the sleeve, plus some         light marks to the run off, the label again has a few slivery trails to the centre.
The all important sleeve is in beautiful condition for its age, this sleeve was made from very thin paper which resulted in many of the sleeves not surviving, and the ones who did are usually in poor condition, however this one is one of the rare survivors which is in amazing condition, there is one very small pinhead size mark just under the 't' in Beatles, otherwise it is super clean and bright, there is a very light record impression, and a very few light surface indentation's which when you consider this sleeve is 50 years old it is truly in             fabulous condition.
