This extremely rare Beatles LP box set was issued by EMI in 1978 as Parlophone BC13. These sets were issued in a blue hard shell box and contain all of The Beatles original albums: PLEASE PLEASE ME, WITH THE BEATLES, A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, BEATLES FOR SALE, HELP!,RUBBER SOUL, REVOLVER, SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, THE BEATLES (WHITE ALBUM) 2LP, YELLOW SUBMARINE, ABBEY ROAD and LET IT BE. Also included in this set was a very rare bonus LP issued only with this set titled RARITIES which was a compilation of songs from the "Long Tall Sally" EP, some single B-sides, a version of "Across The Universe" which was only temporarily available on a 1969 charity LP at the time, "Bad Boy" previously only available on "A Collection Of Beatles Oldies" and two songs the Beatles had recorded in German: "Sie Liebt Dich" (She Loves You) and "Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand" (I Want To Hold Your Hand) which hadn't been released in the UK before. SGT. PEPPER and THE WHITE ALBUM include all of the cut-outs, posters or photos as originally issued. Each album has either the Parlophone or Apple Records label also as originally issued,
This box set was purchased new by me in 1979. Each album was played only once or twice the most to record to cassette tape, using a top quality turntable and cartridge, and then filed away on a shelf. All of the albums are in mint condition and the box is near mint because of minor scuffs on the top and bottom right corners.
As an added bonus I’m throwing in at no extra charge a copy of “A Collection of Beatles Oldies” just to complete this collection of original UK releases.
