Description

Greetings!  For Your Consideration...is The Beatles (Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band) UHQR (ultra high quality record) from the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab.  It was limited to 5000 pressings, and each one is individually numbered.  This one is 1996.  The UHQR's were pressed on heavy weight (super) vinyl, stressing high forming accuracy and excellent wear resistance through an ultra -rigid quality control program. This comes with the original MFSL custom box, technical spec's manuel, and certificate of authenticity, all in perfect condition, as the pictures portray.

This record was owned by my late brother who was a record collector.  He took pride in how he meticulously cared for his records and audio equipment.  I don't recall if he purchased this new or not some 30 odd years ago, but it was some time in the 1980's.  What I do know is how very excited he was to have this and how impressed he was with the exquisite quality, and so was I!  This has always been in a smoke free environment and loved and cared for.  Upon examination, side 1 has what appears to be 2 manufacturing imperfections which resemble scratches, but I GUARANTEE that they are not!! They are completely undetectable to the touch, and in the sound quality. It must be a characteristic of the vinyl. Since I have owned this record, I have only played it once with studio headphones, and it is flawless, and the sound quality of this record is SIMPLY AMAZING,  the presence and clarity of the instruments and vocals are unmatched!  For those who listen, a splendid time is guaranteed for all!
