Offered for auction in this listing is the South Korea edition of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which had two tracks excised by that country's Ministry of Culture. The same Ministry also interfered with the iconic sleeve, reducing the famous front art to an airbrushed image of the lads standing around the drum (in which the original title logo has been replaced with an uninspiring - and less civil-disobedience inducing - design that nicely removes 'Lonely Hearts' from the album title (perhaps thought to be an incitement to suicide). In any event, this particular pressing is unique in so many aspects of its presentation that it demands a place in the collection of all serious Beatles fans.

CONDITION - VINYL
Vinyl play-grades at VG+. Record plays all the way through without sticks or jumps (both sides). Vinyl is very clean but does have a bit of gouging - which does not compromise the groove or normal auto-arm playback - to the outer lip of the LP (see images). The platter is as flat and undished.

CONDITION - SLEEVE
The 'promotional use only' sleeve is, unfortunately, not in as good a shape as the other elements. Surface wear, including ringwear, is evident on both sides. Though unsplit, there is much bumping of the seams; and the legibility of the spine text is compromised. See pictures for a detailed appreciation.
