Description

Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Sgt Pepper 12" 1969 one box stereo original EMI Parlophone pressing LP vinyl' in overall VERY GOOD condition. 


VINYL:-
Visual:

  • Side 1 - lots of hairlines and light scratches. One feelable but not deep scratch. Rated as VERY GOOD-. Label is VERY GOOD-.
  • Side 2 - same as Side 1!



Audio:
  • Audio currently rated as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+(just!)! I have play-tested this all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system!! There is some background crackle throughout but it is only light and never truly interferes with the audio! Elsewhere, there is some light pops and some repetitive ticks but nothing that I found distracting or intrusive. Sound is very punchy and loud! Still has original tonality. It does need a deep clean but it lies very flat and plays well!








The original 1969 stereo 'Patents Pending' gatefold sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition!! The front of the sleeve is nice and clean with light laminate creasing and light ringwear. The centre gatefold is also clean and still creaks upon opening. The rear of the sleeve has some creases, light scratches and light ringwear but still solid! The spine is 100% readable with some light creasing but nothing major! NO GRAFFITI, NO WRITING, NO RIPS, NO TEARS!! PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!!
