Description
Vinyl collectors who have been with ebay for a while may remember me selling off a large quantity of my vinyl collection a couple of years ago. I’ve now decided to sell off remainder of my collection – because I just don’t play them anymore.
This copy of “Sgt. Pepper” was released in 1978 (when the UK coloured vinyl release took place), and purchased around the time of issue. I was heavily into my Beatles collecting phase at the time.
The disc has never been played. The gatefold sleeve, both inside and out, bears no marks or creases at all and is rated as in excellent condition. The card insert bearing the moustache, etc. is present and in pristine condition.
On the rear of the sleeve is printed EMI and Pathe Marconi. It also states the re-release year of 1978. The only catalogue number shown on the sleeve is DC1. This catalogue number also appears on the disc’s label, along with C 066 – 04.177 A and B.
The stampers on side 1 are YEX 637 21 and M6 2 53549, along with the etching 4177 A. On side 2 the stampers are YEX 638 21 and M6 2 53550, along with the etching 04177 B.
Packing and postage, within the UK, is Royal Mail Small Packet second class recorded at £3.25. Packing and postage via airmail in the EU will be £5.94, and worldwide £9.78.
