The 2ND UK lp release from the Beatles, already becoming prolific in the charts with brilliant singles, and this album was pressed in Great Britain in the US format, mostly for sale on military bases/facilities.
They were the No. 1 best band of the times, and the music still appeals to every new generation.
Their albums were exceptional,
They were writing & recording and very busy this period with gigs, TV appearances, photo sessions, and press sittings.
Here we found them still very much embedded with their rock 'n roll roots.
Some great songs here though, and this is in respectable playing shape!
These early issues were by far the best mix, as recorded and produced at Abbey Road.
The EXPORT issues differed in having US design covers LAMINATED with flipback tabs like with UK issues. There was the additional REVERB that seemed to enhance the rock 'n roll tracks particularly!
The trackless differed from British issues too, as Capitol - initially somewhat confused by this Liverpool outfit with long hair 'moptop' style - swapped some tracks off every lp only to create an extra edition later!
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades VG+ visually - but plays REALLY well, sounding EXCELLENT!
There's general light wear, spider-web scuff and a couple of grazes, but The Beatles songs belt out with customary enthusiasm, there's just a little light crackle between tracks (no distortion associated with any worn needle).
Yellow and black PARLOPHONE Lables are VG+ no stains, stickers or pen, spindle lines only.
The LAMINATED COVER is VG++
Clean overall with light general wear, still very decent
