Description
Original 1965 Capitol US pressing of the Beatles' Rubber Soul, on the rainbow label with the olive inner. The cover is still in the shrinkwrap and nearly mint, except a little wear along the open edge. The shrinkwrap has torn off a little on the back lower left. The disc has some wispy scuffs from sleeve wear, but no deep scratches or real damage. It plays mostly NM, but has a few spots where a small crackle or light popping can be heard. Not bad. Only in a few places. On side one it is the beginning of Michelle where you hear a bit of light crackling, but it goes away soon. On side two there is a light pop for the first few bars of I'm Looking Through You, and then again for the beginning of In My Life. Both fade away near the beginning, and aren't so bad. I feel it is only fair to describe the issues as clearly as possible. Overall this copy plays absolutely beautifully and sounds like a gem. And looks so cool in the shrink... a great copy.
