Description
NICE EXAMPLE OF A SOUGHT AFTER FIRST PRESSING.
First issue with XEX-606-1 matrix number on Side 2 contains withdrawn version ("Remix 11") of "Tomorrow Never Knows". Dr. Robert on both record label and sleeve.
Comes with two sleeves! They appear to be identical except in the various degrees of imperfection. Same print front, back and spine.
Sleeve 1: This is the sleeve the record came in when I got it. It's quite faded and certainly shows its age. Lots of wear, particularly at the opening, front and back. Some scuffing to the corners and a one inch split in the spine. This is the first sleeve in the photos (before pics of the record).
Sleeve 2: This sleeve came with the record but, as mentioned, the record was in the other sleeve. This one is much brighter on the front cover. There is some wear along the opening. No splits in the spine. It is slightly misshapen, possibly it's got damp. It has some tape removal marks on the back cover and it appears to have been taped shut. It has possibly been stuck to a wall.
Record: The record plays through with no skips or jumps on my turntable. There is some static and clicks here and there and that is due to the surface marks which are all over this record. There are some significant marks so pleased it plays through. The label has KT embossed either side of the spindle hole on side one and shows lots of wear. I will grade it as a G+ visually although the audio was more like a VG. I turned it up pretty loud and my enjoyment of the record was not impaired.
